starting at the beginning

Yes, I haven't written for ages, I've been very busy looking into setting up my own business printing textiles. Lots of research and not much creating going on. It is taking over my life and I don't even have anything to show for it. Have booked myself in for a screen printing course in a couple of weeks to refresh my skills and I cannot wait to have some new fabrics in my grubby hands. Then I shall try and make some lampshades. Not exactly a money spinner but it's a start. At least I'll have some christmas presents to give away if I can't sell them. I need to get back to real painting soon and get some starting points for designs happening. Have been sitting in front of the computer for months now and I don't think it is all that productive. It does seem to hypnotise me and I can't tear myself away. Maybe I should remove my desk chair from the room... no seriously, I might try that.
